Emma Laugier
Emma Laugier is a globally recognised Marketing professional for the world’s best known productions.
She has devised and led some of the most impactful campaigns over the past decade and first cut her teeth on the Old Vic New Voices program, designed for up-and-coming theatre producers. From here, Emma gained valuable experience through initiatives like the T.S. Eliot UK/US exchange and the 24hr Plays.
Her journey in theatre production began at Nabakov Theatre where she produced Fringe First winner ‘Bunny’ by Jack Thorne and ‘Present:Tense’ featuring artists including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Kae Tempest and Joel Horwood. Emma then became Associate General Manager at Sonia Friedman Productions, working on Legally Blonde, Top Girls and Jerusalem.
On transitioning to marketing, Emma led a prolific touring marketing department for Bill Kenwright managing over 100 weeks of theatre per year including ‘Blood Brothers’, ‘Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat’ and ‘Cabaret’. As Marketing Account Manager at Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, she spent seven years managing marketing strategy for both West End productions and International tours, including acclaimed shows such as ‘Mary Poppins’ ‘Les Misérables,’ ‘Miss Saigon,’ ‘The Phantom of the Opera,’ and ‘Hamilton.’ In 2021, Emma embarked on the journey of establishing ELM, motivated by a deep-seated passion to establish an agency that not only excelled at the highest standards but also provided an efficient and adaptable service, tailored to the evolving needs of clients within the contemporary entertainment industry.
Outside the theatre, Emma’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found Levitation 29, a creative innovation agency that has launched groundbreaking global marketing campaigns for live entertainment and media for clients including Activision, Coachella Music Festival and the BMW X6 Vantablack car, which captivated over 220 million viewers online.
Her commitment to the theatre community extends to her role as a trustee for The Theatrical Guild, a UK charity focused on mental health, financial stability, and career support within the industry, a position she has held since 2022.
